This encaustic vessel has a base of paper pulp. The encaustic, molten beeswax and damar resin mixed with pigment and then fused with heat, flows throughout the piece, giving it strength and a luminous quality that is surreal. The piece is further enhanced with a leather lace. The size of this fine vessel is about 5” × 5” and 4” high
